Overview

Health Export Pro ("the App") is built by Young Software Solutions GmbH. This privacy policy explains how your data is handled.

The short version: Your health data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it or configure a sync destination. We don't collect, store, or transmit any of your data.

Data Collection

Health Export Pro does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. The App has no analytics, tracking, telemetry, or crash reporting.

HealthKit Data

The App reads Apple HealthKit data with your explicit permission. This data is used solely to:

• Display health data within the App for your review
• Export health data as JSON or CSV files to your device
• Send health data to a REST API endpoint you configure (Pro feature)

HealthKit data is:

• Never sent to Young Software Solutions GmbH or any third party
• Never stored outside of Apple HealthKit and your device's local storage
• Only transmitted to the server URL you explicitly provide in Settings
• Processed entirely on-device — there is no cloud component

REST API Sync (Pro Feature)

When you configure a REST API destination:

• Data is sent directly from your device to the URL you provide
• The App does not proxy, intercept, or store this data in transit
• Authentication credentials (API keys) are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage
• You are responsible for the security and privacy practices of your chosen destination server

Local Storage

The App stores the following locally on your device:

• Your configuration preferences (API URL, sync settings, theme)
• Sync history log (last 50 entries)
• HealthKit authorization state
• Subscription status

This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.

In-App Purchases

Subscription and purchase data is managed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not have access to your payment information.

Third-Party Services

Health Export Pro uses no third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the App. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
